VINTAGE PUSH ALONG DONKEY

Isn’t he adorable!

Just in – this adorable vintage push along donkey is a gorgeous decorative item, but still sturdy enough to be used for its original purpose should you wish to (although might want a little clean and a repaint of the handle). However in his current original condition it’s just a perfect interior design piece for a child’s bedroom, nursery, hallway or looks great just stood on a hearth, would cheer up a corner in any room.
We’ve had a couple of these vintage push alongs before ( not a donkey though!) and they’re always popular in the shop-but they’re getting harder to find, especially in decent condition.

Would make a perfect Christmas gift for animal lovers – everyone loves a donkey!

Made in England by Chiltern toys circa late 1940’s , he’s stuffed with wood wool ( like straw) has glass eyes and his original frame and wheels. He’s a little play worn in places with patches where his beautiful mohair fur is bald but in overall great condition for his age, with no rips or tears and his long ears are still fully attached!
He’s desperately seeking his forever home and would make an ideal gift. I’ve attached a cheerful red velvet ribbon to him as his original reins are missing and he looked a bit sad about it!
