Large antique dough bowl

A fabulous 19th century hand carved large European dough bowl.

Has historical woodworm holes ( we’ve still treated it just to be on the safe side !) and finished it with x2 coats of clear wax to bring out the  grain of the wood.

A lovely rich colour with fabulous  old metal repairs – the ones on the ends have worn through a little due to its age – please see photos

Would have originally been used for bread making/ kneading dough

Full of character and will instantly add warmth and character to your home ! Makes an ideal table centrepiece for floral or candle displays ( just add moss and different height candles!) or a very large fruit bowl!

It measures approx 75cm long x 58cm wide and 17cm high
