ORIGINAL DOLLY TUB /PLANTER

An original (not reproduction) galvanised metal dolly tub circa 1940’s/50’s in really good condition for its age, with drainage holes around the bottom.

Dolly tubs were originally used to wash clothes in before we had the luxury of washing machines! but these days they’re mostly used in the garden as a planter (ideal for bay or olive trees) or for log storage. They also look great turned upside down as a cool bedside or lamp table indoors, or somewhere to perch your glass of wine out in the garden!

This one has a lovely ribbed design and is a nice pale grey colour, it measures approximately 50cm high x 48cm diameter.
